[help]add A Language Support?

Is it possible to add a Chinese language support to Savanna? Savanna cant display Chinese characters correctly.

Any idea?

Ning Hao, I don't know if it's possible to add chinese language support to Savanna.

But Mozilla Firebird can display most languages + it's skinable. Why not give it a try?

 Nin Hao~

Firebird might be a good choice, though,;) I'm just wondering whether it's possible to make Savanna much more Chinese-friendly.heh...

Gesh, people should really stop trying to speack languages they have no clue about. Seph knows what I'm talking about. :shy:

Yeah, Savanna doesn't have that type of support yet. Firebird is very good. You'll like it. ;)

Firebird?is it plugin or a new app?

I'm new here. Can you give me a link?

Firebird is the new Mozilla Browser, what Netscape is based off of, except without the Netscape crap.

And Thunderbird is it's mail counterpart.

Thanks for reply.

I think firebird is not very close to Apple's Safari.

Savana is more like Safari.

Savanna was meant to be a clone of Safari, however it doesn't have the wide support for wide variety of characters used in different languages, example, chinese. You can get skins for Firebird.

;) mmm...I'd try firebird again. I know it's nice but last time i dl a version which had an interesting bug..it cannot change its skin~haha.

Now i'd try it.

but i'm still curious about Savanna. It's surely a 99.9% perfect clone of safari in Mac. It'd be 100% perfect if it can provide a wider font support :own: Anyone knows a way or sth. to "hack" it? heh...

yup, Savanna's another bug came to my mind: sometimes you cant type letter "t" when replying on A-S or posting a thread on any forum~ :staffs here: mmm...

How to change the skin of Firebird?

I try to change the skin. But it seems not working.

This is the only way I know of. You have to do it through the web. I know there's a better way of doing it but it's the easiest. Go to this site and click the "Install other themes" or actually it will be at the correct part of the page.
