Turn Magnification Off?

Does anyone know how I can disable magnification? I know that's the whole point of the application, but every time I do it, it eats up a lot of CPU.

Also, for the right click menus, is there anyway to specify whether to display the filename extension or not?

just turn down the magnification down to nothing.

That doesn't work, even at the lowest setting there's still some form of magnification.

go to your mobydock/dock config folder.

open up settings.ini

change maxitemsize to whatever number your minitemsize is.

save.

restart mobydock.

actually you have to close mobydock first before editing settings.ini

actually forget this... it doesn't work. it should have but it doesn't.

i think mobydock adds a 1 in front if the maxitemsize number is less than 44.

yeah, its weird, when you go to moby's control panel... as you slide the icon size slider, it changes the minimum magnification so that its always larger than your starting size :dr_evil:

there must be a work around though.

i think it does that cause the dock can't "cave in"...

that would look funny.

Heh, perhaps the next version of Mobydock will have the ability to turn mag. off as it would save much CPU/GPU power.

I´ve taked note of your sugestion, and i will talk with Moby about it.

One note: Moby IS the develloper of Mobydock. I know nothing about application programing. I just take care of Mobydock looks/graphics and site.
