Super Slow!

Okay...I keep playing with iTunes and I love the interface...truly and honestly.

However, I'm having a serious problem with preformance.

It just seems as though it significantly slows down when I'm doing certain things...especially changing my "active" boxes in Windows.

If I'm chatting on AIM/Trillian, and I all of a sudden want to quickly change over to iTunes, it takes a good while (several seconds? appox 5 seconds?) before it actually shows the iTunes window. (using alt-tab, btw)

Let's say I have a chat window with iTunes in minimized mode next to it so I can see both windows. The sound volume bars on the iTunes are bouncing up and down. My active windows is trillian. Then I click iTunes in any general area on the "tiny" iTunes mode. Guess what? The music keeps going, but for about 3-5 seconds, the sound volume bars stop going up and down (freeze), and iTunes will not respond...

Weird...and sad...b/c otherwise it's a great program.

ive had absolutly no preformance problems with iTunes whatsoever, besides it lagging when im doing a massive render or somehting like that.

This is really weird!

I wonder what is causing this. The only thing I can think of is that the major mods my XP has lived through (pack's mod) might have caused this huge problem...I dunno.

I mean, sure, it might not be as "snappy" as Winamp, but this slow...ridiculous. I can't believe it.

I'll try it on my sister's and dad's computer and see if it's just mine...
