Hi,

May anyone tell me how can i in samurize configure the AM PM and the week days like they are in the clock, plz ?

I already tried but could get the same result :(

Thanks a lot.

Bye.

@rissol and sciphan, it's not hard to set those up.

first, sciphan, you don't need to get the clock. it's already a meter in samurize. in the config tool, go to add meter > add date/time and you can configure how you want the date and time to look.

rissol, just add the time meters like above. add one meter for the time (just the time) and change it to the same font and to whatever size you want. then add another date/time meter and just cut out the date/time leaving only the am/pm part, which you can now resize and all to your liking. then finally add the date/time meter and cut out the time part leaving the day, and configure, and that's it. you see, you don't need to actually do it three times, but since you want the info in 3 different places in different sizes, you can do it this way. :)

Hi,

Dreamz thanks for your explanation, but i didnt understand a bit :(

As you can see in that clock theres the days faded and theres the day that is highlighted , how can i make the day highlighted move when the day changes to the one that is faded becaming highlighted as a new day ?

Sorry my english hard to explain.

Where did you see that clock (config) ? maybe i can talk to the one who made it.

Thanks.

Cya.

#69328

oh yeah, i didn't even notice the faded parts. my mistake.

i forgot where i found it. it may have been one of the threads that you started.

maybe someone else knows. i'll think about it, though.

#69351

Yes, thats why I wanted the clock. It's not hard to make a regular clock, but when the days and am/pm change position it gets tricky. Hey big is the config file? If its not too big you can probably just host it on here.

#69357

if i had the config, i would, but i don't. i just found that in a screenshot so i copied and pasted it to show people.

come to think of it, it'd be a pretty cool widget.

anyone?

#69359

lol, maybe its actually desktop x?

#69368

yeah it might be. someone should make a samurize script for the clock. :)

#69374

Well I know nothing about scripting, but I'll try to solve it somehow. I think that I have an idea....I'll try.

#69475

Hi,

Anything new about it ?

Bye.

#72294

I suppose you could make the png background with the faded parts already in the image itself, but then the only problem left would be how to get the days and the am/pm to change places properly....
