I intend to port (and update) MailCheck and 8Ball to OD ![]()
I just downloaded the SDK and it looks great I must say ![]()
So if you could give some wishes you would like in MailCheck or 8Ball, I could integrate them by the way ![]()
Have a good day all !

There are a couple of MailCheck docklets for OD now so I'm looking forward to your 8Ball docklet. I never got that since I stopped using Yz long ago.
Cheers ![]()
A mail docklet that can show two images. One for the regular view and one that shows you have email. A counter of how many emails you have, and when clicked, it can open the email application that you have chosen. Implementing a sound feature would be nice also.
I am using AndreasV's mail docklet now, which is great, but it lacks most of those features. His does have the counter, a mailer and subject preview pane. But will not open the program of choice.
Thanks for doing this.

actually, i use his also. and it does open the program of choice, you just have to set it, and then dbl click, not single.. the single click preview still comes up, but the program will load as well ![]()
R U sure Jolhof ? I am using the latest Email Docklet and it will launch Prog of choice. It will also display headers on single click and launch Email prog with double click. The image changes but never reverts for me until I restart the app. There is a conflict in the double click but I can't remember what it is right now.

It does open the program of choice. You can set it in configuration. Are you sure you have his latest version?
Not to sound like a ****; but, do people actually use 8ball stuff? I dont' care if it only uses 2k of memory and 0 cpu, what's the point? It's like the most completely pointless docklet I could prossibly think of.
Again, not to sound like a ****. But aren't there like 30 other yzdocklets that actually serve a purpose, that haven't been converted yet?

aah, Deletedsan, but it does serve a purpose
Actually yes I am using the latest version. But for some reason it will not open that app for me. I have it set to open my mail app, but when I double click it just opens the Mail Docklet folder.
Don't get me wrong, I love the way it works right now, but it would be great if the other features were implemented.
Hope this makes sense.

****Edit**** Okay, so I got it to work on my laptop, but on my desktop it still goes to the folder, and it is the same version. Don't know what is up with that, probably something I did myself.
My kid loves 8Ball would love to see it ported and the comic docklet

Well, MailCheck and 8Ball are the only 2 docklets I made ![]()
well i hardly use email and dont wish to ask a ball questions
lol
but im sure others will find them useful ![]()
wow! siwu is back! will you continue development of your apps as well?
I'd really like to see support for IMAP email accounts...
I like to have more than one account support (multi-account), and for the rest the same option as Yz dock email as well!

mailcheck for YzDock has already a multi account support ![]()
What I'd love to see is a config dialog. Have you seen that iCal docklet Judge made for OD? It has the ability to position and format the text and stuff... And for MailCheck there would be some customizable title field.
