Removing Shortcut Icon

Is it possible to remove the shortcut icon, without messing around in regedit or whatever? Y'know, the little arrow in the corner of a shorcut. Can anyone help?

microangelo lets ya do that......you dont have to keep it either.......if you download it, uncheck the show shortcut icon thing and uninstall the program the shortcut thing still stays away
