i was wondering if there was a kde mac visual style. i like the kde look but the aqua beauty, and i think the kde + mac look for linux looks really nifty. is there one for explorer (i'm pretty sure there are some for other shells)?

Well, "Crystal" (the KDE Icon/widget theme), looks very aqua-y. You'd probably want something like that.
There are plenty of themes for that, some better than others.
I know Taha had a pretty one a while ago.

Honestly, 99% of the themes for Linux GUIs suck. They were done by complete amateurs. I really am jealous. Every theme Kol, Iceman, etc make looks better than Luna and just as good (if not better) than Aqua.
I think its because there is no Photoshop on Linux or a "Style Builder" type app. Generally, programmers and artists dont mix.
Oh well, I digress.

well, i love the aqua styles that people have done, and i use those. but the taskbar is rather boring, and i'm not completely devoted to complete mac emulation. i just like the aqua look.
but i do like the taskbar. that's not the best screenshot, but i've seen some where the blue (the active window) item is glossy like a mac button, and the inactive ones are clear, but glossy (not like in this shot). i think that adds a nice effect to an otherwise boring taskbar like mine.
i also think it's cool how the bars stack up on each other as opposed to what windows does.
and i like the long bars (i know how to do that in windows, so, i'm just looking for a cool theme).
at least with linux, there are all those nifty tools in the taskbar, etc., unlike in windows. or maybe it just looks neat to a non-linux user like me.
maybe someone can answer these questions:
1. is there an entry for the image of an inactive taskbar button? in smooth stripes, the active taskbar button is blue, for example, but the rest are basically part of the taskbar. is there a way to make it a different color, style, image, etc.?
2. is there a way to change the text color and style just using reshacker and resbuilder?

ok i did some modding and i'm pretty satisfied, but does anyone know how to change the taskbar button text color? i'm looking through the ini files in resbuilder, but i don't know which entry to change.
