[question] Namp

so, is nAMP dead? such a shame, best iTunes-like app, all it needed was a mini-player

#67758

I think with the release of official iTunes for windows, we may not see any more clones...

It´s a shame ....but the official app will kill all emulated apps. Just an opinion

#67828

if we'll find a way to skin the official iTunes, i dont see any reason to use a clone :D

also, unfortunately, nAMP missed a lot of features :(

especially unicode and smart playlists...

since i used nAMP i know a lot more about fonts and this stuff, and maybe i could give unicode to it, but i still need smart playlists >.<

FYI, Smart Playlists WERE in it, but he had yet to implement them.

As for further development, i am sorry to report that since Mith has school, and with the release of iTunes, he will no longer develop nAMP.

I want to thank him for all the great work tho...it played alot like the real thing. He did a great job.

Awww.. thanks Duckie. =)

Liquidbrain has it right - nAmp is as good as dead. The development was fun, though. =)

Thanks Mith - and good luck with school.
