I think it's one of the hidden fonts, set the option to make all folders/files visible and then delete should do it, but i'm not sure about. ;)

edit: well this doesn't work, also not using cmd

1. Go to windows\fonts

2. locate marlett.ttf there and rename it to marlet.ttf

3. wait 10 seconds, refresh window. If new marlett.ttf appears, search your hard disks for it and rename every marlett.ttf you find EXCEPT your modded one.

4. Copy your marlett.ttf to windows\fonts.

5. Wait 10 seconds, refresh. Double-click it and check size - it should be the same as your modded one's size..

6. Reboot.

Should work ;)

what does Marlett.ttf represent? Is it the OS X like font?

What's it used for? I can't seem to change my systemfont. I use a brused msstyle, but if I change my systemfonts, it doesn't seem to work!

Marlett.ttf doesn not exist on my system at all.

We are talking about Windows XP right?

Marlett.ttf is the font used for glyphs when using the classic theme, XP does have it. Open up Character Map and you should see it.

This WinT tutorial may help you out some with editing it.

I've never needed to change anything since I never use the Classic theme on XP.

if you're using visual styles, you don't need to bother with marlett, though. you can edit the glyph images. :)

Look for MacOS_Panther_Finder by Shinter (use Search...) or look for the WindowBlinds skins. In this package is in step 1 a batch that replace this font.

Or download this (I hope in Shinter permission).
