[Wip] New Concept, What Ya Think?

The AppleChrome VisualStyle is being developed right now, and here's a little preview of what's to come.

The VS will have many surprises ;)

I love how that texture looks, make sure you ahve ms styles to go with it and some decent fonts too!

Thanks! I've actually never made a visual style before, but doing graphics and interactive designs (Flash etc etc). I'm an addict to this forum and usually changed my msstyle or wb everyday until our loved all.alloy was released. It rocks (Y) .

So do you recommend building this for msstyle or windowsblinds? What's best? I prefer msstyle (feels better with performance), but hey, I'm open for suggestions! :own:

Thanks for all your great comments! Really appreciate it! It seems like you would like a theme like this! :D The few chrome themes I've seen in the past hasn't been on my desktop, simply for the reason that they're not good enough. So I'd love to make a new look, something different. Smooth, sleek and sexy with some different colour variations.

nah, the windows you have are perfect, they look like translucent plastic and go great with the rest of it. Would look great with many vs's i think. Keep 'em, brushed background in the windows would be too much imo.

Just wanna let ya'll know that all comments and PM's has been greatly appreciated. I've put more effort in the design, and it looks like this will be a killer. I've done some changes for the better and to make it more friendly to implement - however, all changes are good. Just wait until you see the new buttons. They are killlers.. you'll love them. ;)

I've been having trouble deciding if I was going to use brushed chrome as backgrounds or not, but it looks very good with dark chrome buttons. I'm also creating different color schemes.

I'm very busy these days, but I'll work on it and I'll post you some new screenshots in a couple of days. You're gonna love it :D

If there's any thing you'd like to see in this new killer theme, or any suggestions - just let me know.

I did a search on it and found Candy Blue. Thanks for your comment, but mine will be quite different. Yes, it's also chrome, but different. Without saying too much: If you like AA by Max (and Kol....) and you also like dark chrome, then you're gonna like this one. I'll post some screenshot soon of of my progress.

that color scheme you have going with the chrome and that shade of blue is perfect!!! I liked the full captionbars tho, this looks like a spin on Aluminum Alloy.. its nice with all the rivits etc.. i thought it looks alright without it tho..more of a smooth look

btw whats up with that dropshadow/glow that is around the white letters in "Apple Chrome" in the taskbar? i don't think thats possible.. is it?
