[help] What To Do

I have recently come across on old pentium 166MHz Pc with a 1gig HD (found it in the attic!) and want to make it useful.

Should I stick win98 on it or go with Linux? If Linux then which one?

The only thing I really need is for it to be able to connect to an ethernet network for internet acces. Any help much appreciated.

I have a 133 mhz, 32 meg ram, 2 meg generic vga and it runs knoppix fine.

Me, I'd pop Linux on it, stick it in a corner and use it as a dedicated proxy/firewall.

Well, if you want, put it in your car to act as a mp3 player. There are sites around which teaches you to do that.
