I've finally completed my litestep theme for ots2, totally rebuilt and fully ots2 complaint :own: , ive included instructions which should make installation a breeze. Post any comments, good and bad here. thanx

Hi dartbra,

thank you for your theme. It was the reason for me to test litestep and it works fine. But i´am missing my Desktop Icons. Is there a way to get them back onto the desktop?

Also i have the problem that all my icons are now "windows-standard". Normally Iconpackager does replace them.

U could run litestep on top of explorer, but youll lose some functionality (like systemtray). Youll need to edit a few things first,ill try to keep it simple.

Step 1:

Go to the pant folder under the themes folder, open theme.rc with notepad.

look for (*NetLoadModule jdesk-0.70) add a ; before it, to look like this(;*NetLoadModule jdesk-0.70) save and close.

Go to the personal folder, in litestep directory, or under your profile, open hotkey.rc and add a ; before anything starting with *Hotkey. save and close. start litestep, (you must be running explorer) youll get a warning read, ignore and click yes. done Your desktop should look something like this.
