iTunes, hands down winner,

It runs with great sound quality, classical, pop, piano, jazz, natural sounds even voice.

Sorry to QCD, WMP and Winamp all to the folder named 'yesterday...'

One thing about iTunes, i wanna have aqua like buttons in main window.......

maybe STEVIE BM could.....

Maybe I could do what?

Make aqua buttons for the main iTunes window?

I'm not a graphics guy...

Binary did all the graphics for my iTunes skin.

Also, I don't know how you'd change them... I would guess reshacking, but they may be hard-coded... <_<

Not a reply really just comments.

I'm running it over my network with my wifes Imac which already runs Itunes. I can play shared files across the network which is nice. You can even play files on the opposite machines at the same time which is a spectacularly useless feature.

Would be nice if you could drag shared music on to your own hard drive from a shared folder.

I've used MusicMatch as my player for many years. Haven't really planned on switching to another as it does everything I need and more. But I thought I'd download iTunes to see what all the hype is about. After a couple days playing around with it, this player is sweet!! (Y)

I had some performance issues (I only have a P3 500mhz PC - songs would cut in and out during playback) but that cleared up after changing the Quicktime Preference soundout to Waveout instead of DirectSound.

I give it two thumbs up, and I think I have found me a new player! :D

Do you feel that the setting of WaveOut makes the player sound better? It no longer sounds "hollow" as reported above?

Yes, I do think it improved the sound. Hard to describe exactly how, but in my opinion it just sounds better with WaveOut, not to mention it makes iTunes runs a whole lot smoother on my system!!

What songs did it erase? Your previous library, or only the tracks you downloaded?

What precisely got erased?
