Aqua-Soft ForumsBefore I start a mega-search around the web, the big Brushed X on the black "Panther is Coming" ad at apple.com.
Does anyone have the font or a font that is very similar for producing that particular X style.

, I bet Apple specially made the X.. I'll get you a enlarged vector based version tomorrow (or today since it's 4:20am). 
I don't know about the font, but if it's only "the damned X" you want, check this old post and download the zipped PSD file (2.91 Mb).

Well, I looked at the Apple site, and they have this cool section!
When you click on this link, go to what you want and click on images...
Anyway, I went to the Panther section, downloaded the CD image, and traced the "X" in PhotoShop with the pen tool. I then converted it to a Custom Shape, for all to download yaay!
Put it in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Custom Shapes\
Here it is!

As far AFIK there is no such thing as font that only works on SP1 :-/

go to the rectangle tool, and switch to custom shapes tool. then you will she a "shape" box, click on the little arrow on the left, you can load the Panther X custom shape...
