I'm working on a mod right now that will aquify Solitare, Spider Solitare, Hearts and Free Cell. I was wondering, should I go through the pain and agony to make only to be deceived with no one wanting it? Or should I go through with it. Depending on the reply I get on this, I could have it done in time for iTunes release tomorrow. Well, let me know.

Replacing about 60 or so images with entirley new, but similar images.

Just so you guys don't hink I'm blowing wind, here's a screenshot (Look at the 10 of Clubs, first column). I had a problem at first, but later I found out that cards.dll is compiled in 16-bit (WTF!), and Res-Hacker only compiles in 32-bit. So I had to search for a program that recompiled in 16-Bit. Now I'm on a roll!
edit: sorry for the poor quality, never got the hang (hehe) of paintshop pro saving techniques.
the images on the back of a cards is also a big thing. i for one would love to see some default os x wallpaper! :canadian:
Yes, I'm going to modify everything I can find to get rid of the Window$ look. This is a big project I'm working on. I had no idea at first, but it is. Plan to have a downloadable tutorial so everybody can learn how to do it. Trust me, it's going to be a big download, literally.

Just a quick Q, will this mod work with non-XP (i.e. Win2000) solitaires?
@ iindigo - I hope so, I think it should, it's all using the same dll's and exe's. I know that you can get Spider Solitare which is for XP working on 2K
@Seph - It was just the clubs that I got done at that point, I haven't changed the borders so you don't see it at first, but the 10 of clubs is changed since that was the only club that I got on the opening hand. Let me get a better shot.
Oh, yeah, if i zoom in on the card i can kinda see the diff... sorry man... its just the resouliton is pretty hard to see...

O.K. look at the 2 and 4 of clubs. Trust me I've made much more progress than shows. I just don't want to have to log off every time and restart Photo Shop (it takes forever on my comp).

The ugly green background is a tile within the program yes I can chage it but it's proble going to be a tile unless I can figure out how to change that since it's probly hard coded into Spider itself. The Solitare background in just a solid color also hard coded in the program, so I can see what I can do.
Doesn't give much hope, but there's still enough to go around.
