Hey Guys,
I just did it again. Accidently double posted on one of the threads. You know it would be really nice if you guys could implement a 'delete post' feature also, besides the edit feature when one post something. This would help also in minimizing the request from members to you, to delete their posts. Hope this makes sense.
Just a suggestion.

sounds like a good idea to me, but for "transparency" issues it is better that the messages are kept, we dont want people saying somehting then deleting the post and claiming htey have never said it...

The ability to edit the new post title would also be helpful.
But surely it'd be invision that would have to implement these features into the board?

most probably, yeah.... ive never seen an invision board doing that... however, the function my be set but only used by mods and admins...

Second, there is a board that has it, don't know if it invision or not, don't remember right now, where it was either, I will try to find it.

i dont remember if you can have the delete post for members, but i do know that there is an option to let members edit their own topic titles. I actually have two forums running now, and i have seen that option.

Yeah, I know that the mods can. Someone did it to one of my post, and it was a good smart-a$$ comment too, and I can't remember it for next time! :cry:
How about this. I don't know how this board software works, but somehow the member can edit and in the edit there will be and "Uh-Oh!" chech or something. Then in the software it marks it, sortof like the "Sticky" way maybe. But, it remains there exept for post within threads, there will be a "minimized" post where you have to click it to view it and it will be a lighter grey so I looks like it's not there but it is. And for the thread starters, It sorta does the same thing (click to see it and lighter color), but won't show up in the search.

no we cant have members deleting their threads cause then if one posts a smartass thing he cant go and delete it right away, lucky you guys get ti edit your posts 
just pm a mod or an admin or if the report button is still on there click it.

heh, i would invite you, but see, one is for my youth group, and the other is for my school. not very public ones, more of a private kind of thing...*thinks about opening an aqua related one...*
