How do you make a screenshot in linux (KDE/GNOME) ?
[help] Screenshot In Linux
use gimp. It has a nice screenshot capture function, i dont rember where it was, but its in there.
I just use Ksnap (or is it Gsnap?)
Under GNOME, Prt Scr (Print Screen) calls up a program that does the job decently well. There's also a panel applet that does the same thing. The 'raw' command for it is 'gnome-panel-screenshot' but I question it's usefulness--you end up with a screenshot with the focus on a run dialog or terminal window...
actually, the gnome-panel-screenshot applet takes the screenshot app BEFORE It appears, so its out of the picture.
And GIMP can have a delayed screenshot, allowing you to remove GIMP from the picture.
thanks I will try Ksnap or Gsnap
