Should the arguments area be block out?

I cannot input anything into the Argument area or change the Show Command from normal. How can this be done?

you need to re-create the icon by dragging it into the dock again. i think that dragging folders in will not let you put an arguement in. i dont know if this is what youre trying to do but, if you want to open a particular directory in explorer you need to use this arguement "/e,/root/,c:\program files\" or whatever.

Thx, but that did not helped. When i drag the icons in to the Dock, the same thing happens.

I found what I was doing wrong...silly of me. Too much Jack Dan....

There could be a problem with your computer. It works excellent for me. In fact, the dock would suck without the argument line.
