Description:
============
This is a combination of an ActiveX dll and a
vbscript compatible with samurize. The
project as a unit is used to grab the title
of QCD and display it in samurize. You may
also manipulate the title and add text to it;
these options will be explained later.
Installation:
=============
1. Unzip the zip file into your Scripts folder.
2. Open the run dialog and type the following:
regsvr32 path_to_dll\GetQCDTitle.dll
3. You should get a confirmation telling you
that the registration succeeded.
4. Edit the vbscript (see next section)
5. Load into samurize as an activescript
6. Just a note -- you should set the "Run every
X min" option to 1... at this time
samurize doesn't support updating any
more frequently than 1 min 
Configuration:
==============
Open QCDTitle.vbs in notepad. On line 6, you
will see something like this:
GetTitle = object.GetQCDTitle(0,1,"","","nothing")
Between the parentheses are the display options,
separated by commas.
1. Show track information (yes/no)
2. Replace the / with a - (yes/no)
3. Text that comes before the title
4. Text that comes after the title
5. Text to display when QCD isn't playing
Remember, you need to use 1 for yes and 0 for no
(ops 1-2) and quote all text (ops 3-5). If you
don't want any text for options 3-5, just simply
use "".
Demo Config:

Listening to Artist / Song Title with QCD

Nothing (when off)

Uninstallation:

1. Open the run dialog and type the following:

2. Remove script from samurize
3. Delete files

Hmmm [...] :goku's job: Why you didn't start another thread for your QCD Script Panther, I just wanted to promote my first ported panther bezel with my new iTunes 4 icons that I've just got under the icon tread. If you can join a screenshot of your script maybe it can help too. Anyway mine is for Foobar 2000 and your script is for QCD. :rant:

Yes, I would love this for QCD. Winamp2 would be great as well if that's possible. I could probably mod the QCD config for Winamp2 if I ever needed it. Looks great - can't wait for the release.

Since you are using files from my iCandyFoobar2000 suite
maybe you should rename(or change path) for *.txt files ( 'ticker.txt','skin.txt' and 'time.txt')
and foo_txt.dll components so they are not overwriten by your config ?
Or you can reuse it (you need only 'skin.txt' and 'time.txt' )
For example :
First row - skin.txt reading line 1 \ time.txt
Second row - skin.txt reading line 2
Third row - skin.txt reading line 3
(you can reorder it whatever you like)
That would produce something like this :
I needed multiple instances of 'foo_txt.dll' couse iCandyFoobar2000 suite has
multiple instances and due to limitation in 'scroll.vbs' that can scroll only
whole file and not line by line, but your config can easely work with just one .
All you need to do is split format strings in foobar2000 into multiple rows and
read txt file in Samurize one row at the time . . .
