Oh come on, we can be a bit more polite.

popsandthefamily: In order to be able to help you, you'll need to give us more clues. Do you know the brand of the card? Is the Graphic adapter integrated to the mother board? If so, what's the brand/model of the mobo?

Monitors don't have drivers, smartass.

Yes, usually, just install the official drivers for your Video Card. Probably an ATI or NVIDIA.

When you turn on your computer, there should be some info about the graphics card you are using before the standard bios text. Can you see it and describe it here? Better yet, would you be able to open up your cpu, take out the video card and look at the model number? Give us all you can see and we can try to "google" drivers for your device.

The monitor drivers are only needed for the right refresh rates and resolutions, pops here has a waaaaaaaaay bigger problem before any of that -- 16 m.f.in' colors!!!!!!!! I haven't seen a world that drab in ages. It's like living in "safe mode" - that can't be good for you!

@Pops: take a look at Aida32, it's a program for system information (get the "enterprise" version), it could probably help you determine the type of video board you got along with a bunch of other things. After that it's all a matter of cruisin' for drivers... I hope.
