Im in the process of using Gentoo KDE/GNOME CD. I dont know how to start the X configurator from the prompt plus I get kernel panic during start-up 75% of the time.
Is there anouther option for a live CD for PPC?

EDIT: Oops, I just realized you wanted something for PPC, which I don't think these are. Sorry 'bout that. >.<
There are a few other options. SuSE has a live CD, I think. The two I reccommend though are:
I haven't used GNOPPIX yet (low on CDs, or I'd probably burn it right now), but I have used KNOPPIX (3.2) and despite me really not liking KDE, I'm pretty impressed with it, and keep it around for when I screw up on a Linux install while I keep distro-surfing. :surfer dude: ![]()
I wouldn't be surprised if YellowDog has a LiveCD spawn, check them out.
