[help]any Good Dvd-r

hey i'm thinking about getting an dvd-r drive but really don't too much about dv-r's. I know i want something that can do multiple formats but thats under $250.

I wouldn't buy a DVD-RW drive.

Consumer Dual-layer burners have recently come out, and they will never quickly replace the "old" single-layer burners.

I would wait and get one of those, otherwise, you're buying obsolete technology.

see thats another thing there doesn't seem to be any industry standard i believe there are several companies pushing their own standards.

so i guess i'll have to wait and see who come out on top
