Hey guys, girls, undefined sex creatures;
I thought some of you might know, ive been trying to replace the opera.exe icon (the one that appears in the taskbar and so on) for the safari one but it says that the exe has been compressed.
I heard about this UPX thinguie but it said something like it might not work afterwards...
Could someone tell me how do i go about this?

I use this and it works perfect for the taskbar and the title bar:
Application Icon=C:\......\icon.ico (the complete icon path)
In my case, I put it in operadef6.ini in the opera main folder, but I dont know if it works in opera.ini in profiles folder, etc
Ok, so i just insert this new command in opera6def.ini? i did that and it doesnt work.... did you try it with opera 7.20?

Wicked, thanx!! it worked at home, it didnt at the office but its allright...

It's a good thing it worked, I tried unpackin opera with upx and it couldn't do it. :6
To unpack stuff you just get the upx (packer/unpacker) and type:
upx -d TheNameOfYour.exe
If it was packed with upx it will expand it and make it reshackable. (Y)
