Themes And Photoshop...

First of all hi everybody, This is my first post in this community, you guys are awesome! I also want to apologize for my english... it's not my first language, so I'll just try my best...

I just followed informations I found on this site to apply and try out some themes, eventually choosing one of the great aqua themes... eveything works pretty fine but adobe photoshop... is it a knows bug that close/minimize buttons in the photoshop palettes can't be displayed in the right way if using themes other than the official XP theme? There's something about this in the ICEMAN site, but I find the same problems even using other themes? Is there anything I can do about this? Any theme not having this problem?

Also I wish to know any other way to theme my Windows OS in order to appear more Aqua style... I already have a dock (Y'z dock) and a Mac wallpaper...

Thank you very much,

Tango

You could always use Windowblinds. It's shareware though.

The photoshop problem is in many themes, i can't help you with that, sorry.

Edit. If you really want to emulate os x, i suggest you download Objectbar and use a mac theme.

you could also change system files, like shell32.dll.

see this thread for more mods: http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/index.php?s...hl=list+of+mods

not too sure about the photoshop buttons, though. it looked fine before, but now it looks a little weird. don't know what happened.

Yeah, that annoying bug has been pissing me off years ago. But after a while, you learn to live with it... I don't even remember how should it look when is properly displayed...

not only that, sometimes the buttons disappear completely! learning the ps hotkey combinations has helped me alot.

or the 'close ps and save every piece of work and reopen ps so that everything isn't foobar-ed anymore' method

The only theme or vs which I have encounted, which fixed the photoshop bug is Blue Curve, which the author has fixed the bug. I'm not sure how he did that, but he didn't explain.

But I'm using Milk Redux (Graphite), the bug is still there, but that never really bothered me.

I have heard the Adobe products have their own way of displaying buttons and stuff, so maybe that clashes with the theme.

Does PS hava a glitch with the buttons with plain luna running?

#64356
