hey guys, i seen that there is a winamp new meter for samurize, but is there any for QCD...ThanksYall

It's possible. All you need to do is download AMIP from http://amip.tools-for.net/ and tell it to send what's playing to a .txt file. After that, just tell Samurize to read the txt. :D

Oops. You probably mean the progress bar. Don't think there's one of those yet. :shy:

ok nif, ive downloaded that program, but i really dont know nothing about it, ive installed it on my qcd plugins. but i dont know how to but it in .txt, and i dont know how to make it work with sumarize....i just begon..maybe u can gimme a little tutorial...thank u so much man...

I'm not very good at tutorials, but I'll give it a shot. xD;;

Open the AMIP configuration in QCD (Right click>Plug-ins>Plug-in Browser, General Plugins, select AMIP and hit configure). A window should appear that looks like this.

Make sure you have enable AMIP and MAIL integration checked, and input a filename into the file: field. It should be wherever you want your txt file to be stored. After that, you can either use the while playing, while paused, etc. they have, or make your own. These tell AMIP how to display the titles in the txt and samurize.

%name - the universal name for the mp3 (you'll probably want to use this one)

tagged files only

%1 - author

%2 - title

%3 - track #

%4 - album

%5 - year

example: Now Playing: %3. %1 - %2

would give something like: Now Playing: 3. Louis Armstrong - Wonderful World

To add it to samurize, open the config program and click Add Meter>Text File. Select the text file you told AMIP to use, and voila. You might have to start playing before QCD and AMIP write to the txt file.

If now playing information is all you want from QCD and Samurize then there is a script available.

But to be perfect, i got to make it scroll, DO U Know How Can i make the TExt Scroll..and how to add shadows to the Text????

You need 'scroll.vbs' from samurize.com and simply

tell script to scroll txt file.

As for shadow you can copy/paste same txt and move it 1px right/down

and simulate shadow.

(Just make second text black (255) with alpha 190)

Check my script for foobar2000 here .

(it has scrolling nowplaying ticker)
