hi,

yeap...its working.

You have an error in the script for the Feelslike value , gives me an invalid value for val, i copy paste the lines from the old script and its ok.

Going to try dreamz script with the beta.weather.com , to see if it works too.

Thanks.

Bye.

Yes, had a ">" in there where it didn't belong, new script has been attached at the samurize thread.

Aside from changing the zip code, if you download someone elses script, be sure to confirm the path to the Samurize install folder. If the script cant find the folder, you wont get an error message, it just wont work.

It uses the XML dump from weather.com®.

do the icons make a difference with the XML... e.g. want to use the icons from my old one, but they don't seem to be refreshing with this new version. if i change it back to what came with the XML version, it works fine.

thanks much

Did you rename the icons and do you have them in the 2 different sizes in their respective directories? The original Desktop Weather had names for the icons like mostlycloudy.png and heavyrain.png, and they were only one size, whereas the XML version uses the original numbers - 16.png, 35.png, etc.. with 2 different sizes, 128x128 and 32x32.

holy crap that worked :woot: ... i didn't realize that the icons had to be in those particular folders... i thought if i just pointed it to the folder i wanted, it would work. thanks mate!
