I love all those smilies of the board, but when I write a new post and have all of them playing and moving on the left, it's kind of annoying (and it makes my cpu fan speed up, honestly!).
Could you have static versions under the "clickable smilies" area and animated ones in messages?

press ESC to stop them... thats what i do.. hehehe
How can you stop them using ESC key. Is it browser or OS dependant Seph? It's not working for me :rant: !!!
i know it works on IE, and in opera (my main browser) i have them set up not to animate in preferences...
What browser are you using?
Right now Firebird, and I don't see that configuration in the Options. I guess Mozilla doesn't support that. 
hmm maybe... dont use firebird... im sure about the esc thing in IE tough...

heheh no problem man, they can get annoying, it works for any animated .gif!
