SpyderFCS, when you try to save it choose all files from the lower dialogue and then give it an extension of PNG. It may save correctly that way.

yeah...I tried that...it won't let me open it in IconWorkshop to convert it. I can't even open it in Paint Shop Pro. It's telling me it's not a vaild PNG. I think it's because it really is a BMP and just changing the extension doesn't really "convert" it...

It worked fine for me and in Fireworks MX.. I attached Pedros' PNG, try again?

Spyder are you using IE or one of it's variants (MyIE2 for example)?

Because occassionally (click it to see it) Internet Explorer Saves Images As Bitmaps (.bmp Files)

[i'm not bashing, since I use MyIE2 and IE exclusively ]
