[help] How Do I Get Rid Of The Boot Screen

hi there, i just want to know if there's a way to get rid of it completely... i don't want to change it to something else i have to look at, i just want it gone. is this plausible?

thanks much :D

i think you can remove the gui part of the boot screen, but not the boot screen itself.

the only way i can think of doing this is to replace it with a completely black screen. so the system can still load, but it looks as if there is no boot screen.

you can do this by adding an argument to the boot.ini in c:

i'm not sure but i think it was something like /nobootgui

ask mr. google for help, you'll find it!

that's right.

run > msconfig > check /noguiboot

under the boot.ini tab.

you'll just get a black screen, but the time during which it's booting will still remain.
