Here's an okay resize of the wallpaper. Britney hasn't changed, so she's still clear. The red has a few blemishes that bother me and I didn't notice until I uploaded. I'm using the free hosting at haque.net, so I don't want to upload another to try and get it just right. Anyone else that can clean it up and re-post, feel free.

I'll probably get a lot of flack for saying this, but I'm just being honest. Stealing a photograph from a website and resizing or recreating the background to fit your computer screen does not make a great wallpaper. I know there are many other wallpapers out there that use photos without permission, but you could have at least put some effort into this "wallpaper."

No flack, just my thoughts.

First off, thanks for the comment and your honesty. I know what you mean, but really, the composition is perfect IMHO. I mean, it is basically a throwback to the 60's and a compostion done previously by Esquire I believe, so why mess with it?

Secondly, I never intended to release this as a wall, I just noticed others enjoy the pic as well and no one made a wall (that I could find), so why not share mine, no matter the amount of work that went into it or how simple it is?

And third, and my reason for liking things simple, it focuses on the girl, which would be a shame to lose in an overly complicated re-creation of this photo.

So, thanks for the comment, it's good to get feedback, no matter the intentions. I know I'm happy with what I have on my desktop. You want to do something else with the picture, be my guest. It's not mine, I just liked it enough to put a small amount of effort into cleaning it up (jpeg sucks ).

Can't wait to see what you come up with.

By the way, if this is a stolen shot, then there are a lot of Britney Spears sites that are going to be in trouble. It's more likely a publicity photo and, besides, everyone knows that it's going to be everywhere on the web. I'm sure that's what Esquire wants, in fact. Otherwise an original scan, minus text wouldn't have gotten out before the mag hit stands. Look for it through Google. It's really easy to find.

Okay, no more requests. I barely know photoshop as it is and I'm a perfectionist, so no more re-colors or changing cause it takes too long.
