Who uses some crappy divx player? ![]()
Seriously, i don't think there is such thing. Might be wrong tho.
Ever tried looking at www.divx.com??
Aqua:

Quicktime:

Tried them both, they're quite decent and work with the latest Player version.
IngeneerMind, don't use old skins from divx site with 2.1 and above as they are buggy and not 100% compatable.
And yes DivX Player is not the right software for pure movie enjoyment but it's your call.
Thanks a lot people...
can you advice me about a good video player (but one that can read lots of video types)

Use GSpot to see what codec you are missing.

to all pro's: I tried to explain the basics of codec's and avi's on a very simple base, please be kind with me, I know that not everything is correct, but +/- it should be right...
