Anyone seen this:

I reported it on twistedcpu.com a while ago, but they just had their first alpha release.

Its sooo cool. Its basically like WinFS by MS, but its actually working, and released to the public.

Very neat. Its going to be part of a whole new Desktop Environment too.

The more I read about cool stuff like this coming out, the more confident I feel that I chose a pretty frickin' good time to dive into the Linux world. :woot:

that looks very interesting indeed...i wonder what the devs have planned for the future...this doesnt seem to be anything like what we have on linux right now.

i think you mean biggest

this looks great, would be superb if a final release could be integrated into gnome 2.8 next september (probably two years before longhorn ships)

No, actually...I once read that Microsoft stated that it's biggest threat was (I believe I am quoting this correctly) "changes to society," with the second biggest threat being Linux.
