Just Curious...

Has anyone heard about the iTunes for Windows beta? Is it gonna be soon?

I'm getting more and more afraid that it's going to look like QuikTime. Oh well, I'm still willing to have Mithrandel's first child solely because of nAmp. I love that program. Anyways, I'll stop putting off homework. Later.

No word anywhere.

Apple promised it by December, and they would never lie to us.

Actually, they promised it by this month, so they DID lie to us.

I just KNOW one of you has a copy...stop being stingy and cough it up.

I mean, if Rhapsody is available and got leaked, then this HAS to be out there...

but iTunes is a very awesome app (i couldnt appreciate until i used it)

plus, iTunes for windows should mean Apple can now offer there iTunes music store to windows users... :woot:

itunes is a great app but i don't think it's sooooo great as to wanna $h!+ your pants for it to come out...there's plenty of great audio apps out there, and music services are a dime a dozen (some with the same deals as the iTunes store).

the iTunes music store, IMO, is the best combination of good-for-the-consumer-good-for-the-business. We don't pay a monthly fee, we don't have to have a web-based, ugly interface, and we get the songs right on our computer. It's not perfect, but to be able to download songs at a flat rate and no monthly fee is a good start.

As far as the quality of the program compared to other audio programs: It's more of a moral victory to have a (hopefully) good-lookin, Apple-produced program on my desktop than anything. That's not emulation, baby... that's the real deal.

edit: by web-based, I mean an IE window or an exclusively music-service only window.
