the demo'ed themes look like CRAP, but StyleXP seems promising..
what does stylexp offer that the uxtheme hack doesn't? just wondering.
Looks to me like they just integrated BootXP, LogonXP and IconXP into the StyleXP program... unless there're some other things that they forgot or didn't want to mention until the final release.

The major difference is that StyleXP comes with a frontend for the patch which is very important if you gonna deal with many visual styles.
I wonder if current themes will still work in 2.0

stylexp has nothing to do with the actual skinning engine of Windows XP.
to allow for the buttons to move. StyleXP would have to create a new skinning engine, like WB or ShellWM, that would take the place of the XP Skinning Engine..
to get the buttons to move. (in my opinion) would require a ServicePack from Microsoft.
