Kkmenu To Be Ported To Yzdock!

Here`s what Jiri wrote on his webpage:

yeah, i assume yazz is y'z dock. but the docklet is now shareware ($10).

Hmmm he'll have a hard time finding people willing to pay $10 when folders automatically expand in Yz. When I want a Kkmenu-like object on my dock, I just make a folder full of shortcuts and put it in my dock. For free.

Weird. I never thought regular people would try to make money off of the aqua community.

ahh, the change he's going to make isn't already included with y'zdock isn't a feature included in y'z-he's talking about adding tray support within a dock menu, which isn't a feature of any dock yet.

On the other hand, all the docks are free right now. But, it sounds like he'd be working on alot of features in the future, maybe even new docklets or something. And if your an avid y'z user, this means that development of a sort for y'z won't be completely dropped. Who knows, maybe albeik(sp?) will drop it for solely od docklet development :dr_evil: :cry: .

let kk do his thing, and maybe he'll have takers. He is being reasonable.

and stardock should throw him some money. :naughty:

I may be the slowest person here, but doenst kkmenu already work with Yz, I'm using it. Am I missing something????

Now it's (or will be) a docklet. supposedly much faster, and including systray support. That's what you missed.

if it`s like docklet for OD it won`t be "supposedly much faster", it will fly! i kept using OD (beside Yz) just cause of KkMenu, it`s awesome!
