I figured this would be a long shot, but I'll ask anyways. Does anyone have any audio CD's/tapes that they could rip to mp3 that would teach me Russian? I'd like to start learning from my g/f, but I'd like to know as much as possible to make it easier on her. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

As for the tapes, I really don't think those exist anymore. Since so little people learn Russian, noone makes them. However, you could benefit from buying tapes that teach English to Russian people. more or less same principles.

Also, my g/f doesn't know I want to learn yet...I haven't asked her to teach me. I figure I could always use a new language (I am a Political science/International Relations double-major); plus it might come in handy if I ever meet her folks! :shy:

well in either case ur GF will appreciate the effort. And I'm really surprised how many Russian people are in this community. I believe Duckie has Russian roots,so do I, and so apperantly (I'm assuming) is the guy above me.
