[help] Dark Weather Widget Error

Hi everyone :D,

A couple of days before i downloaded the Dark Weather Widget for Samurize, after spending long dreadful months looking for a nice weather object i found this fabulous one , thanks a lot to its creator!!!. Un-coolfully for those who dont master the art of programming it was pretty hard to configure.. that becouse in the Readme file there arnt any instructions to do so (something that should be corrected for mortals who dont program ) after changin its interface to make it fit into the visual style of my desktop, :dunno: the object (the client) opens two times more than it should and with no apparent reaso, and it mus be shutted down manually :dunno: . I'd really like to know if someone knows why does this happens and if there is any solution for it! thanks! (please take a look at the screenshot)

hi,

are you running several configs? did you configure the script to open a particular instance (e.g. instance default), etc.?

Hey JairoB

Well... this could be as a result of different things. For instance - at the end of the .vbs is the code for opening new clients for every update and closing the old one. This would be the problem if it happens every time the cache files update.

The other option is a problem with the config you changed (although I'm not really sure how a config can open 3 clients unless you use another script in there...).

Either way - I'd have to see your script and config for myself inorder to get a better idea.

So... If you wish I could try to help (although I'm not completely certain I'll find the problem) - MSN (yony_a@hotmail.com) me or PM me or email me (not to the hotmail).

Goodluck

Chi, weird  I don't like the way you changed the graphics :naughty:

I sometimes encounter this problem. I don't know what's this about but luckily it happens rarely. Make sure you have a separate instance for this config.

In registry HKCurrentUser\Software\Serious Samurize - you have instances. Edit one of them - input your weather ini's file name there and create shortcut in your samurize dir that would be like this:

"C:\Program Files\Samurize\Client.exe" "darkweather"

The instance's name in registry has to be darkweather and ini in there should be the one calling your modded weather config.

I hope it helps.

I hope I make myself clear, it's 2:30 am here :baby:

See ya
