that theme is good indeed. i have the black version/set of it, i will try to make the aqua type of buttons if i can get a clearer image of that again... but those buttons are only for IE, and explorer should have those buttons =/
You didnt throw any malicious code in there, did you? the second i went to the Link, Sygate said that an attack was attempted. Sygate's normally not that irratic. Maybe im just paranoid.
I'm curious as to why exactly the buttons do look like that. Think about it, the Internet Explorer icon for the mac is nice and clean, while the Windows XP IE icon goes with the rest of them, and so do the toolbar icons. But for the mac the toolbar icons are all one color and to soft edged. Why weren't they designed like the rest of the mac icons? I don't think it looks terrible but I think they would look a lot better with the rest of the OS if they were nice and clean like all the others.

what im wondering is.. microsoft can make such a nice internet explorer for apple, but for its own os, it develops some ****ty gui. i mean i did not like windows gui at all when i first got it. almost everyprogram made for mac (i think) has nice icons, 32bit and everything, but for windows, we still have those 256color icons, even for some windows xp programs..
microsoft needs to stop being so lazy and atleast put some time into their gui to make it look better, or else why would we be here? we're sick of the way windows looks and we want to make it look better(i think...)

true i agree, microsoft are inovative like my poo. exactly the same.
only one thing you are missing, is that microsoft doesnt really make it look better for apple unlike for its own os - just for general knowledge, apple has created their aqua gui for its os which obviously contains tons of libraries of the images and visuals for creating any program on that os, and microsoft has their own division for apple computers therefore they use those libraries. Look at yahoo messenger for the win version vs. the Mac version.. its just simply better cause of the low-level-basic interface the mac has compared to the Win interface.
so microsoft arent good in graphics.. no no no.. everything that is created for the osx looks good cause of the os

I think microsoft hired some other people in designing the UI for the Mac OS programs. Say in Office V.x and Msmsgs3, they hired the people at www.iconfactory.com to design the toolbar icons as well as the UI graphics. I believe there is a UI team doing the work all the time but they just work with some other "external" graphic artists.
By the way, do any of you need the original toolbar-graphic resource captured from the internet explorer.app? There is quite a lot of them as there are lots of "themes" for the explorer itself

Ok, i think the reason why MS doens't make the desktop icons/toolbars with 32bit everything is cuz, it will sacrifice alot of speed. Considering that probably people who have less than 1ghz proc who runs desktopx, windowsblinds, objectbar, Y'z everthing, windowfx. It would lag the system down alot. Unlike OSX and mac hardware, they are able to render the whole UI(DAMN SEXY) without ANY problems. And jaguar has optimized code, which makes it super fast. I have a friend who runs a G3 300mhz, with jaguar, and he says it's quite smooth.
Also, wouldn't bill be pissed if he finds out that many many many many many many many, windows users, are making their desktop look like a mac?
