Try PMing KoL and Timan. They know that kind of crap.
Dreamz posted a few tutorials a while back. Try searching for them.

All sorts of tutorials here. Including the ones you're after ("Mac Tabs").

d'oh, i missed this thread!
here's another tutorial: http://www.pslover.com/tutorials.php?cat=I...face&orderby=ID
it has some cool tuts on chrome and glass buttons.
this one: http://home.zonnet.nl/epragt/tutorials/pho...p/index.jsp.htm
has by far the best aqua pill tutorial on the net, at least based on what i've found.
as for the button you're looking at, instead of the straight shadow (as in the tut), just have the squiggly one and the rest is pretty much the same. good luck!
here's a better one, since it's not mac tabs, but jaguar button.

Aha! With these new tutorials it's time to begin work on an avatar...
What about Paint Shop Pro? I don't have Adobe Photoshop because well that sh##'s expensive. I do have PSP and was wondering is there any way to do this stuff with Paint Shop Pro too?
Aqua buttons have been a point of discussion here for years, if you only searched the forum, you would have found a tutorial. I believe there are a few good tutorials around. ![]()

Your avatar's nice! It's got that authentic aqua feel. I'm sure it'll get better as you work on it ![]()
can you believed i tried to hack those glass button into a msstyle!!
the result? horrible.. you really need a large format to appreciate the look and detail in those buttons. if anyone could get that look into an msstyle i think it would be great!~
here is a great tutorial.. a little too complex for me, so i never really got to trying it....

Goddamn it's divine!!!! I'm digging it! :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot:
The 3D-ness of those glass buttons is so amazing. They actually look like cylinders... I want to pick them up off the screen!
I am retarded. I made these buttons but forgot to save it in layer form and now I want to change the text but I can't remember what font I used. I have over 4000 fonts on my computer.
Can anyone tell what font this is???
