Stubborn Removable Drive!

I'm trying to convert all my icons to the GANT set out. However, when I try to change the icon for my Removable Drive (F), its a Sony Memory Stick Drive on my Vaio Laptop, it still remains the Windows Default. When I open "My Computer" I can see the icon flicker from its GANT icon to the Windows Default. I used Icon Packager to make the change, and have tried reinstalling the program, rebuilding the icon cache and repairing the images with Icon Packager...

Does anyone have any ideas how to avoid the blasted windows default icon from taking over?

You can use the 'explorer' settings in Tweak UI to remove the icon completely from the My Computer list. If you still want the icon though, I suggest trying a different prog like Icon Workshop, Iconphile or E-Icons, something like that. As you can see, I'm not much into sophisticated hacks, just modding by available software, but hope my comments help.
