Hi all!
I know i'm gonna get slammed for this and all...
I am using win 2003 on my computer at the moment (had to review it for my magazine and its running my home network), but I also use it as a workstation... all the graphics options turned on and all that...
Now, I decided a little while ago to just try out a couple of games... see if they would play ball. To my surprise they did! It seemed to me that everything was fine, and that for games purposes win2003 just behaved like win xp.
All was going fine until a few days ago... Now i'm getting crashes from things... not just games,... but particularly Soldier of Fortune II MP, siting "Floating point error" or in some cases "The application referenced memory at 00.cf blah blah, this memory could not be read". I am rather concerned....
Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers
