Do you still use other versions than Win XP? Have Linux in the same machine as you M$ OS? And if so, is it modified/skinned/whatever?
I have Windows 98 in another partition, which I was trying to mod to OS9. But as I rarely boot into 98, I've abandoned the task long ago.

just xp on my machine, but my friend is trying to get me to take up linux.

Dual boot XP and Linux. :dr_evil:
Main OS = Slackware-current (linux) 70% time
Secondary OS = Solaris 9 x86 20% time
Gaming OS = Windows XP pro 10% time
linux and windows... use windows more... linux is just for fun

i have BASIC on my commondore C64 
and winXP on my desktop pc and notebook
i've tried linux knoppix ... and i think linux rocks... :rule: but i cant work with it... its more for fun 
Used to switch between XP, 2000 and Linux, but since Windows Server 2003 was released I´ve only been using 2k3. Everything that the other OS:es lack, 2k3 has plenty of.
I e: stability (well, linux is stable too, but doesn´t have any major software for music production for example.), compability, the advantage of belonging to the Windows-family and therefore having a lot of software to choose among; and speed. XP is VERY slow compared to 2k3. I don´t have any scientific graphs to prove it, but all my programs and tasks runs alot smoother.
Of course Windows 2k3 is not designed to be used as a desktop (workstation) OS, and the price is pretty high, but I LOVE it!
And, most important, it´s just as easy as XP to customize so I can still enjoy everything you guys post in this lovely board. (Y)
