ie is going to integrate popup blocking when it releases the SP2 next year:

Knowing Microsoft, they will allow certain pop-up's, e.g. Paid Advertisments.

I agree Wizard, Microsoft I don't believe would ever totally stop popups in IE. They probably only let the ones through that have paid Microsoft for it.

Blah. Pop up blockers are poop. And I think every known browser except IE has it built in.

Try the Proxomitron

It has much more then popup blocking, can filter all kinds of mean javascripts, cookies, banners, just about anything and everything.

Best tool out there for "junk" filtering:

privoxy.org

First of all, its dead easy to set up. If you are running it on your local machine, just install it and point your browser to "127.0.0.1:8118" as a proxy (there are easy instructions though).

Ive been using it, and it filters out EVERYTHING. I haven't seen a single ad or pop-up in 2 days.

It even gets those google-ads. ;)

Runs on UNIX and Windows, all graphical on Windows.
