[help] Could Someone With The Real Jaguar Help

When trying to replicate the OS X look on Windows, one tends to come across some major and minor obstacles. One of the ones I have run into is the fact that OS X applies a transparency effect on its inactive window's title bars. While this is all well and good Window's users can not do similar even with the aid of external, resource killing applications.

The work around of course is to just colorize the title bar. The problem is, on a OS X Jaguar theme... what would that look like? One of my friends who owns a Mac said that he is not aware of any option to disable the transparency, yet I managed to find this picture that suggests that it can be done.

What I need from some kind person is for him/her to please take a high quality, uncompressed screen capture of an inactive title bar that does not have the transparency effect on and is running the Graphite theme. The one above looks like the normal Aqua theme due to the blue colorization of the bar, so I would guess the Graphite version would have a grayish tint to it.

yeah, there a few tells

one for the orbs on the left, windowblinds or another app that the name excapes me

two, the little dialog that hangs down in the right "run desktop cleanup wizard" windows xp

three the little arrow on the right side of the back button, and the separator line.

Mmm... That would explain why I never came across the feature to align buttons towards the left in StyleXP. Well thanks for the clarification -- though I would still like some screen high resolution screen captures of the following if anyone is up to it.

Well actually you can't disable transparency. The only was is to create a modified aqua theme that doesn't use transparency, which is possible.

Mac themes are great - they let you customize the way everything looks down to the last pixel without ANY extra software aside from a theme switcher :own:

Try searching through the forums for Pete Ross' OSX_10.3 objectbar. I believe he has those systray icons in his package and it will be easy to extract.

No offence, but it’s not my style to take someone else’s work and pass it off as my own. I would really like and appreciate someone taking the screen captures so that I may do it myself and gain the experience doing it by hand instead of using someone else’s pre-made icons.
