I know that there's new versions of the weather docklet out there that allow for international weather... But I'm assuming that they're based on the source code for the original docklet. I don't know how everyone else's experiences have been with it, but for me, the weather docklet stops updating itself after a day or so, and right clicking on the icon does nothing (so I cannot update manually). So is a chance that anyone else could write an improved weather docklet?

I get that problem when I play a full screen game like battlefield1942, all you do is quit the dock and open it again. ONly way i've found around it
Yea, after hibernation, it doesn't show any weather and stop updating.. only way is to quit the dock and open it up again 
i started up today, and the weather docklet isn't showing anything other than my city name now.. shows N/A and a big question mark.. don't know why :-/ can't seem to fix it, and the site isn't having problems that i can see...
Look around all the other dock forums and the Samurize forum...weather.com changed the way they're returning results and it broke the docklets for ALL the docks - there's a workaround for Yz dock by pointing the docklet to beta.weather.com, Moby has a fix for his new version (whenever it gets released), and I think a fixed OD docklet was posted on usenet...I don't use OD, so I haven't tried it.
when the weather and cpu usage docklets stop working after switching users etc, i just reload the dock theme. faster than exiting the dock and then restarting it.
