[help] Weather Docklet Not Working

Weather.com has futzed around with their code again, breaking the docklets for all three docks...any chance on getting the Yz Weather docklet fixed? I did a workaround of putting beta.weather.com in for the URL, but who knows how long that'll last before they screw around with that server?

I figured it was perhaps only a temporary thing - it only just today stopped working, neh? Let's wait a day or so and see what happens.

Hallf is right, and no it isn't temporary, Weather.com has changed their scripting for their site and so no weather docklet/applet is working nor probably will work any more, till someone figures it out again.

I am beginning to think they do it on purpose.

Let's hope someone can fixed it for all docks.

Right-click on the docklet and choose Update Location/Custom URL.

I posted a link in the samurize forum that might be of interest for this to work better, it seems that weather.com offers a service to download their data in xml eliminating the need to write a parser for their site, check my post here or just head on over directly to http://www.weather.com/services/xmloap.html to check out their service.

Maybe XMLizing the docklet will be better in the long run?

Hmm....strange, the beta.weather.com site does the same thing as the regular site for me. Nothing but invalid unit from site message.
