[request] Windows Caption Bar >.<

Anyone know if an application has been made that would make your inactive title bar transparent like that found on the real OSX? I have tried just about everything that makes windows transparent but have yet to find anything that applies it just to the caption bar. Heck, I even tried to put transparency effects on the caption bar background by using a .png instead of a .bmp within StyleXP.

If no such thing exists I think it would be a wonderful step forward in recreating the OS X look for Windows.

I had this once. I opened it to my desktop and clicked on the 'IB" exe file and nothing happened.

It run on the background,

U can see the icon in the taskbar

From there u can set how much transparency u want for the inactive window

Nope. Nothing. The only icons in my tray at the same ones as always. Did I get a bad file? I got .3 that only came with 4 files.

...or should I have stuck this in a certain folder? >.<

Yepp, but after reading this thread it would seem I am not the only one with this problem. Thank you again though. Shame I could not get it to work.

hmm... one of my post over there seems to be missing.

anyways, in that post, i mentioned that you need a copy of comdlg32.ocx in your system32 directory.

look for the file on the internet.

I would, but after reading further it seemed like it would be a waste of time. Someone asked if a later version would only apply the effect to the title / caption bar only. No one replied so it was assumed that this version could not do that. No offence but if I wanted transparent windows I could just use nView.
