Now it's my turn ![]()
I must admit, I'm a Windows user through and through - I've had my fair share of experiences (and I don't mean short ones) with various other OSes (Unixes, Linuxes, Mac OSes, AmigaDOS & Workbench, Windows, BeOS, and countless other OSes for obscure systems like Z80s, Acorns, BBCs), but I still feel that Windows is the best OS for me. I like a lot of the Mac usability highlights, and there's a lot the MS could learn from Apple, but I think that this works both ways...
Personally, my main machine runs on Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. I have a good reason, before people start ranting about using a server OS on a desktop machine - I develop web applications, and I'm evaluating IIS6, which, FYI, doesn't run in kernel space anymore ![]()
