Hi. Ok, let me get my stupidity over with quickly. I tried adding a boot screen to my windows XP home desktop computer and I followed all directions right. Now, the damn thing won't work all together. I was hoping that someone with Windows XP Home could send me their system file, ntoskrnl.exe ((%windir%\system32\ntoskrnl.exe)). I would then burn that onto a CD, the copy the file from my CD to my computer. Thanx all...
Just to clear another thing up, I did make a backup of the original ntoskrnl.exe file. But, I have to work on all of this through the "Windows Recovery Console" which is sort of like a dos format. I guess. Well, anyway, the darn thing won't let me get onto my desktop. If anyone has any ideas, please post asap, thanx
