[release] Konfabulator Weather Script Mod

samurize is basically a prog to put almost anything on your desktop space. You can configure it to become a mp3 player toolbar, or a clock, or maybe just a picture. You don't have to configure a weather thing though, because i highly doubt that anyone could make something better then this.

Heres a useful tip i figured out, if you can't get your city to show up properly (Won't change from Wroclaw, Poland)...

Delete "weather.daily.html" and "weather.hourly.html" then restart samurize, and reload the script after its loaded. That should load up your correct city.

Hi,

First of all nice work Peter

Second im having a problem, the weather for my town Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal , doesnt work , even deleting the .html files that come with the file, and restarting samurize and then reloading the script i already changed the script to my town and nothing heappens, says N/A for all weather.

Third id like to ask a favor , i made this form the original PNGs from Peter , cause id like to add a few things to the script, and i want everything have the same aspect.

but the shadow around is very bad and i cant do a smooth shadow as the original

It looks great, but I can't get it to work for my city at all. I tried entering "Middletown, United States" and get the "City not found" error. I also tried "Middletown, Pennsylvania, United States" and "<17057>" but none of them work. Got any ideas guys? Please, help!

@Risso: if you want to check whether script works for your city or not, visit weather.com. I've just checked and it's working . Probably you should keep restarting and reloading. Maybe wait 15 minutes until it regets the cache files. Can't help anymore...

About the graphics: how did you spoil my beautiful shadow?!??! I can send you original PSD with layers and stuff so that you can play with it, just gimme your email address.

the script works fine, but i always have the same weather icons. i think that is not working very well.

There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers

Weather icons don't change frequently because your weather doesn't change frequently. Even if my config is set to reget cache files every 10 minutes I suppose that the weather won't change that much. When it's sunny you won't have sun storm in 5 minutes

is it ok if I deleted "weather.daily.html" and "weather.hourly.html" file?

will it make another one when it updates the weather?

because I found out that after I delete these 2 files...everything become N/A...

will it update to the country that I set to automaticly?? (every 10 mins?)

I changed the City to "Taipei, Taiwan"....but it just show the weather for

Wroclaw, Poland ...>< don't know what went wrong.....

This skin does look appealing enough to get my lazy a@@ out of my typical desctop and move on to something new like this

I also am one that have tried my zip code, 85032, and my city country, Scottsdale, United States, and still nothing working. All I still see is Poland. I also did delete the hourly and daily html files, but then nothing displays except N/A for everything. I have tried reloading a dozen times, but still nothing. Any suggestions.
